Whether or not you outsource your payroll to us, we will be able to do your Bargaining Council administration. Again, as with all our solutions, it will be tailor-made to your company. If you do outsource your payroll to us, we simply use our live payroll data on the Bargaining Council return. Otherwise, we will collect your payroll data or an emailed extraction from your payroll system to use in balancing your Bargaining Council return(s).
We will reconcile the return with your payroll data and highlight areas where your payroll may need adjustments. If there are changes needed on the Bargaining Council’s system, we will ensure that these changes are made. We will ensure that your Council levies and funds as well as your Provident Fund returns are processed as per your Bargaining Council’s specifications and submitted by or before the due date each month. If your employees contribute to a Fund other than a Bargaining Council Provident / Pension Fund, we will also be able to submit those returns according to each Fund’s specifications.
In addition – if your Bargaining Council has leave, bonus or sick funds they pay out funds over the Christmas period, we will keep a running sheet of what you have contributed, and what you can expect to be paid for each employee at year end. This way we ensure that payments are always correct and that staff are not short paid.
Throughout the year, we will deal with any invoices or disputes that may arise as a direct consequence of our submissions. We will dispute whatever needs to be disputed and as far as we are able – resolve all queries with the Bargaining Council. Our aim is to keep you in good standing with the Bargaining Council.
Bargaining Council claims will be submitted and monitored by our dedicated staff where applicable. A regular feedback sheet will be sent to you to communicate the progress of these claims and any additional documents needed for processing.
In instances where your staff join a Trade Union, we will ensure that the membership fees are deducted and submitted on the Trade Unions specified schedule for payment.
Whenever payments are made to any of these Third Parties, we will also as far as we are able, ensure that the payments are correctly allocated to the returns submitted.
If your company needs to apply for an exemption from any of the Council rules, or have fallen behind with payments and need to enter into a Settlement Agreement with the Bargaining Council, we can also assist in those processes.
